We are hiring a Solidity Engineer who writes clean, elegant, rigorously tested smart contracts, and who cares about the craft.

You will own the development of Everlong’s on-chain systems, including:

  • ERC-4626 vault architecture
  • CDP & lending mechanics
  • ALM integrations on top of Uniswap V3 & V4
  • Yield + rebalance automation integration
  • Protocol upgrades and new products on multiple chains (Berachain, Katana, etc.)

We need someone who moves with urgency, takes pride in their code, and treats testing and security as non-negotiable.

If you enjoy writing clean, expressive, gas-efficient code, this is your role.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement smart contracts across the whole stack
  • Abstract onchain complexity to the Frontend team with SDK work (e.g. typescript ethereum libraries)
  • Write extensive automated testing:
    • unit tests
    • fuzzing
    • invariant testing
  • Collaborate with backend/infra execution engineer to connect vault logic to automation bots (rebalancing, arbitrage, liquidations).
  • Maintain a strong security mindset (assertions, invariants, pre/post conditions).

Ship fast, iterate fast, improve fast.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 2+ years Solidity development

  • Deep experience with ERC-4626 vaults

  • Experience building CDP or lending systems

    (e.g., MakerDAO, Liquity, Curve Lend, Aave, Morpho, Euler, Gearbox)

  • Comfortable with asset accounting, collateral ratios, utilisation, liquidations and other financial terminology.

  • Expert testing discipline:

    • Ideally through Foundry.
  • Gas optimization and clean code mindset (storage layout, calldata usage, natspec)

  • Ownership mentality & high urgency

Nice to haves (Major advantages)

  • Formal security/auditing experience
  • Experience with Uniswap v3 / v4 hooks or concentrated liquidity mechanics
  • Experience with ALMs / automated rebalancing designs (Charm, Gamma, Arrakis, Perennial)
  • Background in MEV-aware design and execution flow optimization

Compensation

Base salary: Competitive (depends on seniority)

Equity + Tokens: core team alignment available.

Performance upside: Based on shipped features + value created

Team offsites: 2-3 times a year
